Fiber-Span was recently awarded a contract to provide a Fiber-Fed Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for the Pentagon. The in-building RF over Fiber DAS system met and exceeded the requirements for the NCR System. The NCR System is the Department of Defense’s first Land Mobile Radio IP-based P25 system used to serve the Army with mission-critical voice communication connecting to civilian public safety agencies in the greater Washington, DC area and other areas such as Maryland, Virginia, and Fort Hamilton, NY.
