800 MHz Public Safety System Installed at Headquarters Of Major U.S .Retailer

Fiber-Span was recently contracted by Action Radio of Maple Grove, MN to engineer a
solution and supply product for an 800 MHz Public Safety in-building coverage extension system at Corporate
Headquarters for a national “Big Box” retailer in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The in-building RF coverage
system uses RF on Fiber® technology to meet local ordinance requirements for reliable first-responder communications
throughout the 4-story 250,000 square foot facility. Fiber-Span’s sound design and field support services, and Action
Radio’s experienced installation practices, provided a streamlined system implementation for a human safety system 100%
compliant with local ordinance.
